In short, yes! We've developed a workaround which allows CreativeX to analyze creatives that are run on media platforms not currently supported by our system. This can include content that might not be passed through an API or for offline content, such as TV ads or Billboards.
Please note that the Upload method is limited to instances where a one-off upload is required and is not intended to replace pulling in data from ad accounts via Meta, TikTok, or YouTube or for any data being passed through another connection to CreativeX.
Our preference is to always have content connected directly to our system so that it can be analysed and updated at the same cadence as all of your existing content. It's therefore not recommended to rely on this method for regular uploads of content.
If you have any concerns or questions regarding ad account connections or linking your content to CreativeX rest assured that all content is protected by data sharing agreements with your organisation, but if you need any additional information about this please reach out to your team or CreativeX representatives for more information.
How does the ad uploader work?
The ad uploader places content into the In-Flight section of your dashboard, acting as somewhat of a proxy ad account connection. This means that the content processed here will influence the results of your In-Flight data but unlike uploading assets via the Pre-Flight tool, you won't be able to just upload these yourself. Instead, the process is handled by the CreativeX team to ensure that the upload is valid and so that your results aren't affected unexpectedly.
For your upload, remember that CreativeX will also need to have Rules set up so that content can be analysed for your platform of choice. If the platform isn't set up, or if rules don't yet exist then there won't be anything to analyse your content against. You can easily check which Rules your organisation uses on your dashboard here or by reaching out directly to your CreativeX team or firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm which platforms are live for your organisation.

If you reach out to our team for an upload, they will look to complete the steps as follows:
Validate your request to see if an upload is necessary.
They will see if there is an account already connected or if an alternative linking method to CreativeX is possible.
If an upload is required, they'll share the template and provide additional details about the upload process.
Timelines for the upload and analysis of the data will be discussed.
It's important to note that unlike "fully" connected content, creatives uploaded via this method will not have their post's full spend and performance data included. While spend and impressions can be added via the uploader, should you choose to include these, they will be for a single point in time and cannot be updated after the fact due to the manual nature of the upload. In short, there's no way to update these posts after they have been manually ingested. Spend (USD) and Impressions, are also the only two metrics that can be included at this time, so unlike connected in-flight content, your uploaded assets won't showcase other performance KPIs such as CTR or VTR.
