Connect DV360 Accounts via Partner Flow

If the OAuth connection does not work or does not fit your setup, the Partner Flow provides an alternative way to connect DV360 accounts to CreativeX. This method relies on adding CreativeX directly as a partner in DV360 and then sharing your account details to complete the connection.

This approach gives your team more control over access while still allowing CreativeX to collect the data needed for reporting and analysis.


When to use Partner Flow

Use this method if:

  • OAuth connection is not available

  • Your organization prefers a manual setup


Before you begin

Before you start, confirm that:

  • You have Admin access in DV360

  • You can add users at the Partner or Advertiser level

  • You know which advertiser accounts you want to connect

Without the correct permissions, DV360 will not allow you to add CreativeX as a partner.


This process includes two main steps. You must complete both for the connection to work.

Step 1: Add CreativeX as a partner in DV360

  1. Log in to DV360

  2. Select the User Management and Notifications Settings icon

  3. Open User Management

  4. Click New User

Enter the following details:

Next:

  • Select Add Partners or Advertisers

  • Choose the advertiser accounts you want to connect

  • Set access level to Read Only

  • Click Save

If you cannot assign Read Only access, contact support for assistance.


Step 2: Share account details with CreativeX

After you grant access in DV360, you need to provide your account details so CreativeX can complete the connection.

  1. Download the DV360 connection template

  2. Fill in all required account information

  3. Include:

    • Advertiser IDs

    • Campaign IDs (if required)

  4. Send the completed form to support@creativex.com

CreativeX will confirm once the connection is complete.


Important setup details

  • If your brands are run and linked at the Advertiser ID level then you will not need to do this to pull in new campaigns unless you are linking a brand new Advertiser ID for the brand and market.
  • If your brands are run and linked at the Campaign ID level, then whenever new Campaigns are created for your ads you will need to follow the steps above for every new campaign created.
  • You must list each of the Campaign IDs in the form (under column F) in order to ensure that the content is matched correctly within CreativeX.

Troubleshooting

I cannot add CreativeX as a user
You may not have Admin access. Ask an Admin user in your organization to complete this step.
I cannot select Read Only access
Contact support. Some account structures may restrict this permission.
I added CreativeX but nothing happens
You must complete the form and send it to support. Adding the partner alone does not finish the connection.
I am not sure which advertiser accounts to select
Choose the advertisers that contain the campaigns you want CreativeX to analyze.
My campaigns do not appear after connection
Check whether your setup requires Campaign IDs and confirm that all required IDs were included in the form.
