Connect an Amazon DSP Account via Amazon Ads

Connecting your Amazon DSP account to CreativeX allows your team to analyze display and video creative, track performance, and understand how campaigns perform across your DSP activity.

Once connected, CreativeX securely pulls in your campaign and creative data so you can evaluate quality and performance in one place.


Before you begin

Before you start, confirm that your access and account setup meet the required conditions.

  • You must have Entity Admin access in Amazon DSP

  • Each entity must be connected separately, one at a time

Without the correct permissions, Amazon will block the connection process.


Follow these steps to link your account:

Step 1: Log in to CreativeX

Access your CreativeX dashboard using your credentials

Step 2: Open Connections

From the side menu, expand Connections and select Link New Account

Step 3: Select Amazon Ads

Choose the Amazon Ads option

If you do not see this option, your organization may not have Amazon Ads enabled

Step 4: Log in to Amazon

Enter your Amazon credentials when prompted

Step 5: Select your entity

Use the Entity Name and ID to identify the correct entity

Step 6: Select advertiser accounts

Choose the advertiser accounts you want to connect

  • Select all relevant accounts to ensure full data coverage

Step 7: Map your accounts

Assign the correct:

  • Brand

  • Partner

  • If the account includes multiple brands, select the Multi-brand option

Step 8: Confirm the connection

Review your selections and complete the setup

Once complete, CreativeX will begin collecting data from your Amazon DSP accounts.


Important notes

  • You must connect each entity individually

  • Markets are assigned automatically and will not appear during setup

  • CreativeX receives read-only access to creatives and campaign data

  • CreativeX cannot modify or change any information in your Amazon account


What to expect after connection

After a successful connection:

  • CreativeX begins data collection from Amazon DSP

  • Your reports start to reflect campaign activity

  • Your accounts appear in the Ad Accounts overview

It may take a short period for data to fully appear depending on platform processing times.


Troubleshooting

I do not see Amazon Ads as an option in CreativeX
Your organization may not have Amazon Ads enabled. Contact your internal admin or support team.

I cannot log in during setup
Confirm that you have Entity Admin access in Amazon DSP and that you are using the correct credentials.

I cannot find the correct entity
Check the Entity Name and ID carefully. If you manage multiple entities, make sure you select the correct one.

I connected the account but data is missing
Confirm that you selected all relevant advertiser accounts. Unselected accounts will not send data to CreativeX.

I am unsure how to map Brand or Partner
Check with your internal team. If options are missing, contact support to add them.

The connection fails or does not complete
Repeat the process and confirm that all permission prompts were accepted. Missing approvals can block the connection.
