Connect DV360 accounts via oAuth

This guide walks through how to connect your DV360 account to CreativeX using OAuth so your team can access campaign and creative data in one place.


Before you begin

Before you start, confirm that:

  • You can log in to the correct Google account linked to DV360
  • You have access to the DV360 Partner you want to connect
  • You have at least read-level access to the account

CreativeX uses OAuth to request secure, read-only access. This allows the platform to collect data without making any changes to your DV360 account.


Follow these steps to complete the connection.

Step 1: Start in CreativeX

  1. Log in to CreativeX
  2. Navigate to Connections
  3. Select Link New Account
  4. Choose Display & Video 360

This step starts the OAuth flow and prepares the connection.


Step 2: Sign in with Google

  1. Click Sign in with Google
  2. Enter your DV360 credentials
  3. Review the permissions requested

Select Allow to confirm access.

CreativeX only receives permission to read DV360 data. It cannot edit campaigns or make changes within your account. 

After approval, Google will redirect you back to CreativeX to continue the setup.


Step 3: Select your Partner ID

Once you return to CreativeX:

  • Choose the correct Partner ID
  • Select Continue

Make sure you choose the Partner that owns the accounts you want to connect. Access may differ across Partners.


Step 4: Select Advertiser or Campaign IDs

Next, choose how you want to map your data:

  • Toggle between Advertiser ID or Campaign ID view
  • Select the IDs you want to connect

You can select multiple IDs at once for a faster setup.

For each selected ID:

  • Assign a Brand
  • Assign a Market

Every ID must have both fields completed before you continue. (support.creativex.com)


Step 5: Assign Company Owner

Select the Company Owner for the account.

This refers to the agency or company that manages the DV360 account. If your company does not appear in the list, contact support for assistance.


Step 6: Confirm the connection

Review the final summary screen:

  • Confirm all selected IDs
  • Check Brand, Market, and Company Owner assignments

Select Confirm (or “Looks Good!”) to complete the connection.

Once complete, your DV360 account will appear in the Ad Accounts view in CreativeX. (support.creativex.com)


What to expect after connection

After a successful setup:

  • CreativeX begins to collect DV360 data
  • Your accounts appear in the Ad Accounts section
  • Reports update based on connected campaigns and creatives

Depending on processing time, data may take a short period to appear.


Troubleshooting

I signed in with Google but no accounts appear
Check that the Google account you used has access to the correct DV360 Partner.
I do not see the correct Partner ID
Your account may not have access to that Partner. Confirm permissions in DV360.
I cannot proceed after selecting IDs
Make sure every Advertiser or Campaign ID has a Brand and Market assigned.
The connection completes but data is missing
Confirm that you selected the correct IDs and that all relevant accounts were included.
I selected the wrong Google account
Sign out and restart the OAuth flow with the correct credentials.
