When you distribute a global campaign toolkit, you need a reliable method to track how regional teams utilize your foundational templates. The Creative Lifecycle application requires you to establish these core assets so the system can monitor live media for exact matches and adaptations. Let's review the exact upload procedures and the file rules you must follow to guarantee accurate data recognition.
Step 1: Understand Core Assets and Rules
A core asset operates as a master template that local markets deploy, edit, or repurpose. Before you transfer files to the platform, you must observe these strict requirements:
- Upload one primary version per asset (for example, choose one aspect ratio rather than every variation).
- Submit only final, approved toolkit files.
- Select the longest duration file for video assets.
- Match the media type exactly. If a team extracts an image from a core video, you must upload that specific image as a separate core asset.
- Ensure the associated digital channels connect to the platform to track active media.
Step 2: Upload from Pre-Flight Submissions
This method pushes assets evaluated in the Pre-Flight tool directly into your campaign library. This workflow ensures your core files meet creative quality standards before you distribute them globally.
- Navigate to the Pre-Flight menu and select View Submissions.
- Select the three dots on the top toolbar and click "Select Core Assets".
- Choose the Campaign from the dropdown menu, or create a new one.
- Assign the Production Partner responsible for the asset creation. You can also attach a Measurement Partner if applicable.
- Click "Link Assets" to finalize the transfer.
Step 3: Use the Core Asset Uploader
This method allows you to transfer files directly from your local device to the system.
- Navigate to the Creative Lifecycle menu and select "Upload Core Assets".
- Choose or create your Campaign and assign the correct Production Partner.
- Drag and drop your files into the prompt, or select the manual upload option.
- Click Submit. Note that video files require additional processing time.
Step 4: Review Supported Formats
The system currently accepts these specific file formats for core asset uploads:
| File Category | Supported Formats |
|---|---|
| Video Files | MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, Quicktime |
| Image Files | JPEG, PNG, GIF |
Troubleshooting
Did you encounter a roadblock with your core assets?
- Incorrect Asset Placement: If you associate a file with the wrong campaign, navigate to "View Campaigns", select the campaign name, check the box next to the incorrect asset, click "Edit Selected", and choose "Delete Core Assets".
- Incorrect Partner Assignment: If you assign the wrong production partner, navigate to the specific campaign, select the asset, click "Edit Selected", and choose "Change Production Partner" to apply the correct agency.
