When you distribute core templates across global teams, you need precise visibility into how those files perform in live markets. The Creative Lifecycle application analyzes exactly how your teams utilize and adapt foundational assets. Let's explore how to generate these insights and extract the final data to optimize your campaigns.
Step 1: Review the Core Metrics
The system translates template detection into specific, actionable data points. You can review these core metrics to measure content utilization, media reach, and overall quality:
| Metric Category | Metric Name | Definition |
|---|---|---|
| Volume & Utilization | Activation Rate | Percentage of core assets activated in live campaigns. |
| Core Assets Activated | Total count of core assets published by at least one market, with a minimum of $1 media spend. | |
| Core Assets Not Activated | Total count of unpublished core assets. | |
| Core Assets Uploaded | Total count of uploaded core assets. | |
| Repurposed Rate | Measures how often teams adapt a core asset creatively. | |
| Reusage Rate | Measures media frequency by the total post count associated with an activated core asset. | |
| Reach & Financial | Activated Impressions | Total impressions from all core asset activations. |
| Activated Media Spend | Total media spend from all core asset activations. | |
| Distribution Details | Ad Formats Activated | Total count of ad formats that feature a core asset. |
| Channels Activated | Total count of channels that display a core asset. | |
| Markets Activated | Total count of markets that deploy a core asset. | |
| Placements Activated | Total count of specific placements that feature a core asset. | |
| Quality | Average Score | Evaluates if adaptations meet Creative Quality standards by calculation of the average score. |
Step 2: Construct Custom Reports
You can construct custom overviews within the Reporting tool. Select specific segments and metrics to obtain a detailed breakdown of your creative lifecycle. The platform also provides a pre-built saved report to help you monitor campaign reach effectively.
Step 3: Extract the Data
You can extract your data in two distinct ways from the Reporting section, dependent on your specific needs:
- Method 1: Direct Report Extraction. Navigate to the New Report tab and select the Creative Lifecycle Report. Click the three dots at the top-right corner of the page and select Export CSV to save the file.
- Method 2: Full Data Extraction. Navigate to the Exports page. Check the CL (Creative Lifecycle) box to include this specific data. This action combines the lifecycle metrics with your In-Flight data so you can map templates directly to media.
Troubleshooting
Did you encounter a roadblock with your data extraction?
- Duplicate Export Rows: If you select the CL checkbox on the Exports page, you might notice duplicate rows in your file. This occurs because a single live post can match multiple core assets. You must manually deduplicate this data in your spreadsheet software.
