When a DV360 account disconnects from CreativeX, data collection stops. Your reports no longer reflect current campaign activity, and your team loses visibility into performance across Display & Video 360.
This guide explains how to reconnect your DV360 account using two available methods: OAuth and Partner Flow. Each method restores access and allows CreativeX to resume data collection.
Before you begin
Before you start, confirm that you have the correct permissions in DV360.
- You must have admin or equivalent access to the DV360 account
- If you do not have the required permissions, contact a team member who manages DV360 access
Without the correct permissions, DV360 will block the reconnection process. (support.creativex.com)
Option 1: Reconnect via OAuth (recommended)
This method provides a guided reconnection flow directly inside CreativeX.
Step 1: Log in to CreativeX
Access your account and open your dashboard
Step 2: Open Ad Accounts
Navigate to the Ad Accounts page
Step 3: Start the reconnection
Locate the DV360 account and select Activate
Step 4: Follow the prompts
A pop-up will appear with instructions. Select Continue
Step 5: Authenticate with DV360
You will be redirected to DV360
- Log in to your DV360 account
- Select Allow to grant CreativeX access
Step 6: Confirm the connection
After authentication, you will return to CreativeX
Check that the account now appears as Active
Once complete, CreativeX will resume data collection from DV360.
Option 2: Reconnect via Partner Flow
Use this method if OAuth is not available or if your organization manages access through DV360 user permissions.
Step 1: Add CreativeX as a partner in DV360
- Log in to DV360

Open User Management and Notifications Settings

Select User Management and click New User
Enter the following details:
- Name: CreativeX
- Email: integrations_dv360@creativex.com
- Type: Partner & Advertiser
Select the advertisers you want to reconnect and grant Read Only access.
Step 2: Save your changes
Confirm and save the new partner setup
Step 3: Update the account in CreativeX
- Go to the Ad Accounts page in CreativeX

Select the DV360 account ID
- Locate the account status toggle

Change the status from Lapsed to Active
- Click Update
Once complete, the account will reconnect and appear as active in CreativeX.
What to expect after reconnection
After a successful reconnect:
- CreativeX resumes data collection from DV360
- Reports begin to reflect the latest campaign activity
- The account status updates to Active
Depending on platform processing times, data may take a short period to fully appear.
Troubleshooting
I do not see the Activate button
Check your permissions in CreativeX and DV360. You may not have access to that account.
The OAuth flow fails during login
Make sure you are signed into the correct Google account with DV360 access.
I cannot grant permissions in DV360
You may not have admin-level access. Contact your internal DV360 administrator.
The Partner Flow does not work
Confirm that CreativeX has been added as a partner with the correct email and that Read Only access has been granted.
The account still shows as lapsed after reconnecting
Repeat the process and confirm that all steps were completed. Missing permissions can prevent the connection from completing.
My data has not updated after reconnection
Allow some time for CreativeX to refresh the data. Then confirm that the account appears under the Active tab.
