When you prepare to launch a new campaign, you want absolute certainty that your assets meet all digital suitability standards before you invest any media budget. The Pre-Flight tool allows you to evaluate images, videos, and GIFs before publication against platform best practices, brand rules, and regulatory requirements. Let's explore how to validate your creative health before launch.
Step 1: Start a Session and Upload Files
Log in to your account and navigate to the Pre-Flight section from the sidebar. Select the "Submit New" button. Drag and drop your files into the prompt, or select them from your local drive. A green and white check mark appears in the top right corner of successfully uploaded assets. This action creates a secure session where you can upload one or hundreds of files at once. If you need to include more files later, just click the "+Add More" button.

Step 2: Configure the Details
To prepare a specific batch for evaluation, type a name for your submission. Then, select the specific Brand, Market, Channel, and Placement (if applicable) from the drop-down menus. All files in a single submission must share these exact parameters because creative rules often vary by platform and market.
Step 3: Select and Submit
Click directly on the specific files you want to include in this batch, or use the "..." menu to select multiple items simultaneously. A red outline appears around each chosen file to confirm your selection. Once you finalize your choices, click the "Submit" button. A green notification pops up to confirm the successful submission.
Step 4: Review and Exit
You can submit additional batches within the same session. Just repeat the configuration steps for your remaining assets. A log of all submissions appears underneath the 'Your Creatives' workspace so you can track your progress. Once you finish all tasks, click 'Exit Session'. Be aware that this action clears all remaining files from your workspace.
Step 5: Receive Your Results
The system guarantees evaluation completion within 24 hours or less. You will receive an email with an attached PDF scorecard, and the results will automatically populate on your dashboard. Read our guide to learn more about how you receive your Pre-Flight results.
Troubleshooting
Did you encounter a roadblock with your evaluation request?
- Slow Uploads: If you experience a stalled upload, check your internet connection. While CreativeX places no maximum limit on file size, videos over three minutes will fail the length restriction. Try a lower resolution file, or contact support for manual upload assistance.
- Unsupported Formats: If the system rejects your file, verify the format. We support standard formats like MP4, JPEG, and MOV. However, you must convert Meta GIFs to MP4 format before submission.
