Not all creative follows the same rules. A polished brand ad often looks very different from creator-led content. One focuses on strict brand consistency, while the other leans into authenticity and platform-native style.
CreativeX allows you to reflect that difference by applying separate guidelines based on content type. This ensures each piece of creative gets evaluated against the right standards, instead of forcing one approach across everything.
Can you apply different guidelines?
Yes. You can set up different guidelines for different content types, such as Brand content and Creator (Influencer) content.
This flexibility helps your team evaluate creative in a way that matches how the content was designed and produced.
How content type is determined
The way CreativeX identifies content type depends on whether the creative is pre-flight or in-flight.
For in-flight creatives:
- Content type is determined automatically based on the ad setup
- The system checks whether a creator or partnership format was used
For example:
- Meta: Content marked as a Partnership Ad counts as creator content
-
TikTok: Content set up as a Spark Ad* counts as creator content
* Please note that due to a limitation on TikTok's platform, we only support "Pull" Spark Ads.
For pre-flight creatives:
- The user must select the content type manually during submission
- This ensures the correct guideline set applies before the asset goes live
