Connect a Snapchat Ads Account to CreativeX

Connecting your Snapchat Ads account to CreativeX allows your team to track creative performance, monitor quality, and understand how your campaigns perform across markets.

Once connected, CreativeX pulls in your Snapchat ad data and applies creative analysis so you can make informed decisions and improve results.


Before you begin

Before you start, confirm that you have access to the correct Snapchat account.

  • You must have access to the Snapchat Ads account you want to connect

  • Make sure you log in with the correct Snapchat Business credentials

Without the correct account access, Snapchat will block the connection process.


Connect your Snapchat Ads account

Follow these steps to link your account:

Step 1: Log in to CreativeX

Access your CreativeX dashboard using your credentials

Step 2: Open Connections Menu

From the side menu, expand Connections and select Link New Account

Step 3: Select Snapchat Ads

Choose the Snapchat Ads option from the available platforms

Step 4: Log in to Snapchat

Enter your Snapchat username and password to authorize the connection

CreativeX will request permission to access your account data

Step 5: Review Account Permissions

Select Continue to confirm the information CreativeX can access

Then select Continue again to return to CreativeX

Step 6: Select Ad Accounts

Choose the Snapchat ad accounts you want to connect

Select Next to continue

Step 7: Map Your Accounts

Assign the correct:

  • Brand

  • Market

  • Company Owner (the agency or organization that manages the account)

If any option is missing, contact support so it can be added

Step 8: Confirm the Connections

Click Confirm to complete the setup

A final confirmation screen will appear. Review the details and complete the process

Once complete, CreativeX will begin collecting data from your Snapchat Ads account.


What to expect after connection

After a successful connection:

  • CreativeX begins data collection from Snapchat

  • Your reports start to reflect campaign activity

  • Your account appears in the Ad Accounts view

It may take a short period for all data to appear depending on platform processing times.


Troubleshooting

I cannot log in to Snapchat during setup
Check that you are using the correct Snapchat Business account with access to the ad accounts.

I do not see my ad accounts after login
Your Snapchat user may not have access to those accounts. Review permissions in Snapchat Business Manager.

I am unsure how to map Brand, Market, or Company Owner
Check with your internal team first. If options are missing, contact support to add them.

The connection completes but data is missing
Make sure you selected all relevant ad accounts during setup. Unselected accounts will not send data to CreativeX.

I selected the wrong accounts or mappings
Reconnect the account and update your selections, or contact support for assistance.

The connection fails after authorization
Repeat the process and confirm that all permission prompts were accepted. Missing approvals can block the connection.
