What can I report on?

When your team needs to evaluate campaign performance, you require robust data analysis tools. The custom report builder gives you complete control over your analytics. You can track guideline adherence, assess overall quality scores, and measure media spend efficiency. Let's explore the different report types, metrics, and segments available to help you extract actionable insights.

Step 1: Select a Report Type

CreativeX offers several distinct report frameworks tailored to specific analytical needs. Choose the structure that best matches your goal:

Step 2: Segment Your Data

Segments allow you to group your data across specific dimensions to isolate trends and pinpoint performance drivers.

Segment Category Description
General Parameters Standard dimensions like Ad Format, Asset Type, Brand, Channel, Market, Partner, and Publisher.
Score Tiers The specific threshold tiers available within your company's unique score structure.
Custom Filters Personalized shortcuts to specific groups of data configured by an Admin.

Step 3: Track Key Metrics

Once you structure your report, you can track a wide range of performance indicators to evaluate success:

Metric Definition
Creative Quality Score (or Rate) The percentage of assets that meet the highest score threshold.
Average Creative Quality The average score across all creatives within the selected parameters.
Quality Spend Total media spend invested behind assets that meet the highest score threshold.
Low Quality Spend Total media spend invested behind assets that fail to meet the highest score threshold.
Quality Spend Rate The percentage of total ad spend invested in top-tier assets.
Volume Metrics Macro-level indicators to track Total Spend, Total Posts, and Total Assets.

Step 4: Apply Filters

Filters refine your view to focus strictly on the data that matters most. You can filter your report by any category considered a segment (General parameters, Score Tiers, or Custom Filters). At this time, you cannot filter results by specific metric thresholds.

Troubleshooting

Did you encounter a roadblock with your data analysis?

  • Absent Data Options: If certain brands or markets do not appear in your filter drop-down, check your account rules. Standard accounts often restrict data views to specific assigned partners. Review our guide on the different user access and permission levels to learn more.
  • Absent Custom Filters: Only Admins can create Custom Filters. If you need a new group shortcut to appear in your drop-down options, contact your organizational lead and read our guide on how to add and use custom filters.
