When a new agency partner joins your project, you might need to verify their dashboard access before you send a new invitation. You can easily search for current users in your network to prevent duplicate accounts. Let’s review how to navigate the user directory and locate your teammates.
Step 1: Navigate to the User Directory
To view the users in your network, go to the Company section in your sidebar and select Users. Here, you will see a complete directory of active and invited teammates.
Step 2: Filter and Search
You can narrow down this long list by utilizing the Partner and Role filters at the top of the table. If you want to locate someone specific, use the search bar on the right side of the screen. Type their first name, last name, or email address.
- Pro-Tip: A name search will return anyone who shares that name, while an email address search will pinpoint one specific individual!
Step 3: Understand User Visibility
Sometimes you might search for someone, but they do not appear in the list. Why does this happen? The users you can see in the dashboard depend entirely on your own access level and permissions.
For example, if you have a restricted account, you will only see users you personally invited or users associated with your specific partner agency. To learn more about these restrictions, review the details on the different user access and permission levels.
Troubleshooting
What if the user genuinely does not exist yet?
- If your search returns zero results and you clear your filters, they likely do not have an active account. You will need to send them an invitation. Learn how to add a user to CreativeX to get them onboarded.
- If their company is missing from the dropdown when you try to invite them, an Admin must have a new Partner (Agency) added to CreativeX first.
