When your team wants to evaluate a new brand rule without penalties to your overall score, you need a safe environment for experimentation. Creative hypotheses act as this exact sandbox. These zero-weighted guidelines measure prospective rules to see how they perform before you make them official. Let's explore how to request these parameters and where to track their success.
Step 1: Understand the Feature
Only Admin users hold the permission to authorize these rules. A creative hypothesis is a zero-weighted guideline. This means the system tracks compliance for the rule, but the result does not impact your Creative Quality Score.
Step 2: Request Rule Creation
You cannot build these hypothetical rules directly inside the dashboard. Instead, your organizational Admin must establish these parameters during initial platform setup. If you need to add or adjust a hypothesis later, your Admin must contact your Customer Success Manager to implement the changes.
Step 3: Track the Results
Once activated, you can view the performance of these prospective rules across multiple areas of your dashboard:
| Dashboard Location | Description |
|---|---|
| In-Flight Dashboard | Explore the aggregate adoption of creative hypotheses across all live content. |
| Creatives Page | Understand the specific adoption rate by individual asset. |
| Pre-Flight Scorecard | Discover the adoption status on upcoming assets before launch. |
| Report Error Tool | Dispute specific hypothesis results if an evaluation appears incorrect. |
Troubleshooting
Did you encounter a roadblock with your hypothetical rules?
- Locked Access: If you want to request a new rule but lack Admin permissions, you must contact your organizational lead.
- Incorrect Evaluations: If an asset fails a hypothesis incorrectly, you can still dispute the result just like a standard rule. Read our guide to learn how to resolve incorrect scores.
