What are the creative scoring tiers and how do I customize them?

When you track campaign performance, you likely want to evaluate asset health based on your specific corporate benchmarks. The platform categorizes creative quality into specific tiers to provide a clear breakdown of your brand's overall health. Let's explore how to customize these levels to match your internal standards and drive your team toward perfect execution.

Step 1: Understand the Default Tiers

By default, the system groups your assets into three distinct levels based on their rule adherence.

Tier Name Definition Minimum Requirement
Excellent Creatives 100% adherence to your weighted rules. 100%
On Track Creatives 60-99.99% adherence to your weighted rules. 60%
Needs Work Creatives Less than 60% adherence to your weighted rules. None

You can view this breakdown directly in the Creative Quality dashboard, where a pie chart displays your Creative Quality Score (CQS) and Quality Spend Rate (QSR) divided by these specific categories.

Step 2: Customize Your Setup

If these defaults do not match your internal benchmarks, Admin users can adjust them. You can toggle the total number of tiers (between two and four), modify the exact names, and establish custom percentage ranges for each category.

To execute these adjustments:

  1. Navigate to the Reference menu and select Scores.
  2. Click "View Details" next to the specific score you want to modify.
  3. Select the Tiers tab and click "Edit".
  4. Adjust the tier count, the custom names, and the specific percentage parameters as needed.
  5. Click the "Update" button to save your custom configuration.

Step 3: Review System Updates

Once you click update, the modifications apply across your entire organization, which includes all platforms, brands, and markets. Name adjustments take effect immediately. However, percentage recalculations require a few days to process. The system will dispatch an automated email to alert you when the new data is ready.

To maintain strict accountability, the platform records every adjustment in the change log on the Scores section. You can review this log to see the previous values, the updated values, and the specific Admin who executed the modification.

Troubleshooting

Did you encounter a roadblock with your tier adjustments?

  • Locked Controls: If you cannot click the "Edit" button on the Tiers tab, your account lacks Admin privileges. Contact your organizational lead to request a profile upgrade. Read our guide to learn more about the different user access and permission levels.
  • Delayed Data: If you adjust the percentage ranges and do not see the metric changes immediately, do not worry. While name modifications appear instantly on the dashboard, the actual metric recalculation requires a few days. Wait for the automated email before you review the new data.
